This is to prevent any damage to the door by an obstructed view from large loads being carried.

The ShockWatch Open Door System (ODS) is designed to warn forklift operators of a motorised roller door that has not fully opened. This is to prevent any damage to the door by an obstructed view from large loads being carried.

When a forklift approaches a door that is not fully open/ closed, it warns the forklift driver via either a Tag or a Pedestrian Alert System (PAS) kit installed on the forklift.

The door sensor also issues an alert signal with a traffic light.

Upon being alerted by the traffic light, the forklift operator can stop and safely wait until signalled, without any risk of damage to either door or shipment.
