Pedestrian Alert System (PAS)
The Pedestrian Alerts System (PAS) from Claitec is the solution for the prevention of workplace accidents between forklift trucks and pedestrians.
Pedestrians must wear electronic tags (KEYFOBS) that are detected by a control unit on the forklift warning the driver of the risk either by a flashing warning light, piezo alarm or if the forklift model permits to reduce speed automatically.
PAS can also be used to trigger warning lights and alarms at intersections when pedestrians or forklifts are in the area.
Collision Avoidance System (CAS)
The Collision Avoidance System (CAS) by Claitec cautions forklift drivers of the presence of another truck within distances between 3-25 metres and can also be used for Pedestrian detection up to 6.5m front and back and up to 4m on each side.
A light and/or buzzer is triggered when another forklift is detected and if pedestrian detection is required as well.
Blind Spots (BS)
The Blind Spots (BS) solution minimises any risks of collisions between forklifts and/or pedestrians in poor visibility areas.
The system can be setup for many different types of blind spot situations.
Narrow Aisle Safety (NAS)
The Narrow Aisle Safety (NAS) solution minimises the risks of collision between forklifts in narrow work spaces.
Pedestrian Cross Safety (PCS)
The Pedestrian Crossing Safety (PCS) solution minimises any risks due to collisions between forklifts and pedestrians in areas of high pedestrian traffic at blind spots or where pedestrians cross roadways.
Low Speed Area (LSA)
The Low Speed Area (LSA) equipment limits the forklift speed circulating in different áreas of the warehouse.
It is specially designed to reduce the speed of the forklift in areas where pedestrians or people are working.
Hazardous Areas (HA)
The Hazardous Areas solution is designed to prevent occupational hazards in areas where there are conveyor belts or in recycling pits, specifically in the paper and cardboard recycling industries.
Truck Docking System (TDS)
