Shockwatch Clips
What is a Shockwatch Clip?
A Shockwatch Clip is an Impact Detection device that will activate (turn red) when an impact level exceeds the threshold of the unit.
Where is the Shockwatch Clip mounted?
A Shockwatch Clip is attached to the product itself and indicates excessive impact directly to the product. The Clip indicates whether the protective packaging was enough to absorb the damaging shock.
What can the Shockwatch Clip do for my customers?
The Clip can be used to:
Promote Handling Care - Promote care and reduce damage during the manufacturing processes
Aid in Detection of Hidden Damage - for example, Shockwatch Clips are affixed to avionics instrumentation such as gyroscopes. The instrument would not be used, or would be thoroughly checked if it was delivered with the Shockwatch Clip activated. The Clip products are more than damage prevention devices. They are also used for detecting possible damage or de-calibration.
A Quality Control Tool - Many products are received and inventoried for use or distribution at a later date. Hidden damage can lead to shortages, or even to distribution and usage of damaged or faulty products. A quick check of the Shockwatch Clip can reveal the product was subjected to a potentially damaging impact and that further inspection is warranted.
MAG 2000 and MAG 2000 Date/Timer
What is a MAG 2000?
The Shockwatch MAG2000 is an Impact detection device that will activate when an impact exceeds the threshold of the unit. The MAG2000 is designed to monitor handling conditions over 45kg, intermodal containers and freight vehicles.
What is the difference between a MAG2000 and a Shockwatch Label?
The main difference between a MAG2000 and a Shockwatch Label is this unit is resettable using a specially designed key. This makes the MAG2000 cost effective in a closed loop system.

How do you control the Activation/Sensitivity of a Unit?
Each MAG2000 is factory set, so you must order the specific G level and mounting orientation needed for your application. Each MAG2000 product has a nominal value that, when exceeded, will activate the unit.
What is the difference between a MAG2000 and a MAG2000 Date/Timer?
The only difference between the MAG2000 and the MAG2000 Date/Timer is that the Date/Timer records the date and time of an impact. It uses the same technology as the MAG2000.
How do I select the right sensitivity?
Use the graph on our product selection page by determining the weight of your shipment and by ascertaining its fragility zone: rugged, average or fragile. However, these weights and zones should be used as a starting point as packaging and construction may affect the correlation between zones, weight and drop height. Please contact us for further information on selecting the sensor that is right for your application.

What is Drop Spot?
Drop Spot is an impact indicator for monitoring larger shipments.
What's are the characteristics of Drop Spot?
Drop Spot will monitor at lower sensitivities, monitor heavier shipments, is field armable and tamperproof.
The Drop Spot has a bi-directional response, requires displacement to activate, has a highly visible indication window and is armed by removing the arming pin.
Tilt Indicators
Two options are currently available in the Tiltwatch line:
- Tiltwatch - has a single sensor that turns red if angled past 80 degrees from its axis point
- Tiltwatch Plus - indicates the exact angle the shipment was tilted or even if the shipment has been completely overturned.

What is a Tiltwatch?
Tiltwatch is a tip indicating device for goods that must remain upright to ensure intact delivery.
How do you control the activation of a unit?
By peeling the adhesive backing from the unit, you automatically activate the sensor and can then place it on your shipment
How many TiltWatches do I need per shipment?
To monitor all planes you need to place one TiltWatch on adjacent sides of the shipment

What is a TiltWatch Plus?
TiltWatch Plus is a tilt indicating device that monitors the exact angle of tilt and from what direction the shipment tilted, and one that indicates whether complete overturn has occurred - providing complete 360-degree monitoring.
How many TiltWatch Plus do I need per shipment?
To monitor all planes you need to place one TiltWatch Plus on adjacent sides of the shipment

What is a Temperature Indicator?
Heat and cold temperatures are all problems that shippers face.
Our indicators monitor whether a threshold has been reached or surpassed and in some cases for how long the temperature has been surpassed.

Why is measuring temperature important?
For any refrigerated food, the higher the temperature, the shorter the shelf life. A food product that will last for 4 days at 4°C may only last 4 hours at 49°C.
Are Shockwatch temperature labels like a thermometer?
No, unlike a thermometer, once the label has been exposed to a preset temperature, the indicator changes to a permanent colour and cannot be reset.
What is a ColdMark?
A freeze indicator to monitor damaging cold temperatures. It will accurately show if your product has been exposed for more than 30 mins to cold below the units threshold.
What is a WarmMark?
An indicator to monitor the duration of damaging temperatures the units threshold. If the tag is exposed above its response temperature, the chemical in the pad melts and begins to migrate down the track strip and colour in the circular windows at a controlled rate (WarmMark run out times).
What is a HeatWatch?
An indicator to monitor heat sensitve products and a specific temperature level is needed.
What is TempMark 8?
TempMark 8 is an innovative, cost-effective, disposable temperature monitoring device for temperature sensitive shipments. Field-activated and highly accurate, the device records temperature excursions beyond as many as eight thresholds simultaneously. The digital display shows the total number of excursions per threshold, the duration of the longest excursion, and the cumulative duration of all excursions.
What temperature thresholds will it monitor?
3 descending (-1C, 0C and 2C) and 5 ascending (8C, 10C, 15C, 20C, and 25C)
What information will the TempMark 8 show me?
The TempMark 8 will display the following:
- Number of excursions
- Maximum time period over a threshold
- Total amount of time over a threshold
